Unless you have been living alone in a cave without a calendar the past couple of weeks, by now you know Valentine's Day — that day of flowers, chocolates and eating out — is around the corner. In case you haven't made your "romantic dinner for two" reservations yet, don't fret. Area restaurants are willing and able to make it happen, candlelight and all, not only on Sunday, which is the February 14th holiday for lovers, but even a couple of days ahead of time.
If you are one of those people who plans to pop the question during this weekend of love, head to Carbone's, 588 Franklin Avenue in Hartford, for a cozy table for two with some fine food and also some "will you marry me?" help to make the event extra special.
For those planning to propose on Friday , Saturday or Sunday, Carbone's has arranged for special heart-shaped boxes of Munson's chocolates with a space inside for the ring to be part of the proposal presentation.
